Our South Miami Campus consists of a 146-bed Acute Care hospital, located in South Miami, Florida. It is the sixth-largest statutory teaching hospital in Florida (by the number of postgraduate training programs) and the fourth largest (by specialties in supply/demand deficit in Florida). Larkin Community Hospital South Miami is currently an A+ Leapfrog Safety graded facility.

Residency & Fellowships

At Larkin South Miami: We offer postgraduate training to physicians in 18 different specialties. We also sponsor a CODA Accredited Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program, an ACEND Accredited Dietetic Internship Program, an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Accredited  Pharmacy Residency Program, and a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program. To physicians in 32 different specialties. We also sponsor an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program, an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Accredited  Pharmacy Residency Program, and a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program.
