In this program, students are paired with physicians and other leaders on the hospital's staff. The day was filled with tours of different departments and a presentation on building professionalism in the workplace.

Larkin Community Hospital congratulates Juan D. Oms MD, FAPA, Chair of the Academic Psychiatry Department of the ACGME, and Residency Program Director and Psychiatry Clerkship Director of Larkin Community Hospital, whose paper entitled "Predictors of Binge Drinking in Elderly Americans" has been accepted for publication in the prestigious American Journal on Addictions. 

Larkin Community Hospital is proud to host "A Day in the Life of a Nurse." Students toured various departments of the hospital and learned about what careers in nursing are available.
