Larkin Surgery Residents Win First and Second Place at ACOS Conference

Larkin Community Hospital proudly congratulates the General Surgery residency program on a successful trip to the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons Conference!

The team submitted two posters to the conference entitled: "Rare Metastatic Lesions of Prostate Adenocarcinoma: Role of PSA Velocity," coauthored by Krystina Tongson, DO, Joshua Simon, DO, Quoc Dang, DO, Nicholas Christenson, DO, Mohammad Masri, MD, George Michel, MD, and Jacob Cohen, MD, and "New Technique: Acute Minced Expansion Graft of Traumatic Wound Tissue" coauthored by Philip Pack, DO, Scott Moradian, DO, Andrew Klapper, MD, Mohammad Masri, MD, and Norman Rose, MD.

The "New Technique" poster won first place in the poster competition.

Dr. Philip Pack won first prize for his podium presentation.

Congratulations to the Larkin Community Hospital Surgery Residency Program on this outstanding accomplishment!
