Prurigo nodularis (PN) is a chronic skin condition that presents with diffuse multiple pruritic nodules. The condition is a clinical diagnosis that may be supported through histologic identification. There are no confirmatory findings, but many reports include hyperkeratosis or parakeratosis with diminished nerve fiber density.
