Larkin to Join Global Health Learning Opportunities Network
Written on in Medical Education, News.

We are proud to announce that Larkin Community Hospital is the FIRST Community Hospital in the United States to be part of the Global Health Learning Opportunities (GHLO) network of 86 participating allopathic Medical Schools that have been recognized for their educational reputation.  This has expanded our "Teaching Hospital" to one that includes fellows, residents, third-year medical students and now fourth-year medical students.

The GHLO® Collaborative, sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), facilitates global mobility for final year students pursuing clinical, research, or public health electives outside their home country.  The AAMC strengthens the world's most advanced medical care by supporting the entire spectrum of education, research, and patient care activities conducted by our member institutions.  To learn more visit www.aamc.org.
