The American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOCPMR) Mid-Year Meeting and Scientific Seminar took place in Atlantic City, New Jersey, between April 3 – 6, 2014 at the Revel Casino and Resort. Larkin Community Hospital’s PM&R Residency program had one of the largest turnouts, with 10 residents in attendance, along with their Program Director, Dr. Jose J. Diaz. They presented 5 scientific posters on a variety of topics, and several NSUCOM/LCH residents were elected to the Resident Council. We are proud to announce Larkin’s AOCPMR Resident Council members: Drs. Amir Mahajer, President; Jesse Hatgis, Vice-President; Jason Georgekutty, Website Chair, and Bruno Subbarao, Fellowship Liaison. Dr. Jeff Compas now represents Larkin as the AOCPMR Program Representative.  For more information, please contact Dr. Compas at jcompas@larkinhospital.com or visit AOCPMR.org. “I am happy that our residents actively participated in this AOCPMR Mid-Year Meeting. I congratulate everyone who presented a scientific poster in this meeting and all our residents who were elected for the resident council this year. At Larkin Community Hospital we strive to provide our residents with a well-rounded curriculum with emphasis on evidence–based patient care, comprehensive medical knowledge and the exploration of new research avenues for better patient outcomes,” commented Dr. Sirish Mulpura, Director of Clinical Research at Larkin Community Hospital.image[7]
