Andres M. Alvarez-Pinzon, MD, MSc presented an abstract at the South Florida Chapter of the American College of Surgeons 26th Annual Surgical Research Forum.
The title of this abstract was:
Percutaneous Retrogasserian Balloon Compression for the Treatment of Atypical Facial Pain in Multiple Sclerosis Patients, written by Dr. Alvarez-Pinzon in colaboration with Aizik Wolf, MD, AANS, FAANS; Marcos Sanchez-Gonzalez, MD, PhD, and Jose E. Valerio, MD, FAANS, from the Miami Neuroscience Center at Larkin.
The presentation of Dr. Alvarez-Pinzon was one of the thirteen abstracts chosen in a blinded fashion by the Council of the South Florida Chapter of the American College of Surgeons from a number of works submited previously by a several South Florida institutions.
This year, the South Florida Chapter of the American College of Surgeons has conducted its 26th Annual Fellow, Resident & Medical Student Surgical Research Forum on April 30, 2015 at Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami.
