Edward Gheiler, MD, FACS, is a board-certified urologist in Hialeah, Florida, whose practice centers on the surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction with the inflatable penile prosthesis. He performs more than 400 penile implant procedures each year, among the highest single-surgeon volumes in the country, using a concealed-scar scrotal technique he developed, and has trained more than 250 urologists in implant surgery. He serves as Clinical Associate Professor and directs the Prosthetic Urology and Sexual Medicine fellowship at Nova Southeastern University's Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. Fellowship-trained in urologic oncology at Wayne State University, he has authored more than 65 peer-reviewed publications and has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
